Road Trip: Zwei Mädels (+ 1 Junge), 17 Tage, ca. 2185 km und viele schöne Momente später!! :)

Ja, genau, zwei Mädels plus ein Junge! :) Chris, unser Schweizer Freund, hat beschlossen, sich dem Mädelsroadtrip anzuschließen! :) Somit waren wir nun doch zu dritt! Der einzige Unterschied zum geplanten Trip war, das Bine und Marleen Mario hatten und Chris seine Lydia (sein Auto) :)

Von Christchurch ging es Richtung Arthur´s Pass. Eine atemberaubende Landschaft. Berge und Natur soweit das Auge reicht! Bine konnte einfach nicht aufhören zu knipsen! :D Erster Stopp war dann „Castle Hill“.

Eine Nacht haben wir im Motel in Greymouth verbracht. Inklusive lustiger Bilder am Strand! :)

Die Felsen sehen aus wie ein übereinander geschichteter Eierkuchen, wodurch sie zu ihrem Namen kamen. Da wir zur Ebbe da waren, haben wir leider die richtig großen Blowholes verpasst.

Unser erster Gletscher auf unserer Liste. Eigentlich dachten wir, man kann richtig nah an den Gletscher ran laufen, aber leider verhindern Schilder und Zäune das erklimmen des Gletschers.. :( Schnell ein paar Bilder gemacht und zurück ging es. Auf dem Rückweg kam Chris dann auf die Idee Steinmännchen zu bauen! What the f*** sind Steinmännchen!? :D Stapel Steine von groß nach klein und fertig ist das Steinmännchen! :D Am Ende wurden unsere fertigen Exemplare  sogar von Touristen fotografiert! :

Und ein weiterer Gletscher auf unserer Liste. Auch hier haben Zäune und Schilder das erklimmen verboten! Aber der See mit den Eisbrocken war so nah und doch so fern… Kurz überlegt und schwupp di wupp waren Chris und Marleen über den Zaun gesprungen und sind zum Fluss geeilt. Zurück kamen sie beide mit einem Stück Eis – Jammy! :) NO RISK -  NO FUN! :D

Direkt am Dorf Fox Glacier kann man einen kleinen Walk um den Lake Matheson machen. Eigentlich hat man von dort einen super Blick auf Mount Cook, wären da die ganzen Wolken nicht. Im Lonely Planet steht geschrieben: „Ist Mount Cook von Wolken versteckt, geh einfach in den Souvenir Shop und kaufe dir eine Postkarte von dem Ausblick“ und dies tat Marleen dann auch! :D Die nette Verkäuferin erwähnte, dass Marleen nicht die erste ist, knapp 90 Prozent kaufen diese Postkarte! :D

Wanaka – SKYDIVEEEEE!!!!

Was machen wir hier? Wir sind verrückt und wissen nicht was wir hier tun!!! 12.000 ft (ca. 3,5 Km) und 45 Sek. freier Fall! Und damit ihr es mir glaubt, dass ich es wirklich getan habe, mussten natürlich Video und Fotos her! :)

Bine war relativ relaxt, immerhin war dies nicht ihr erste Skydive! Am Ende musste dann Stein-Schere-Papier entscheiden, ob sie sich wieder für Bilder und Video entscheidet und das Spiel entschied für sie! :)

Marleens Hände schwitzten und ihre Beine wasren wie Pudding. Nur am grinsen, um die Nervosität zu verstecken. In ihr brodelte es. Aber nun war es zu spät! Auf ging es in die Klamotten und ab ins kleine Flugzeug!! Wir hatten herrliches Wetter und einen wunderschönen Blick auf Lake Wanaka und Mount Cook! :)

Dann war es soweit, wir hatten unsere Höhe erreicht. Bine war als erste dran, Marleen als dritte! Zum Überlegen ging alles viel zu schnell und zu realisieren, ob man schwebt, fliegt und fällt auch! Es war einfach der absolute HAMMER!!! Ich, Marleen, würde es sofort wieder machen!!

Ich habe vor Glück geschrien und gelacht, ein unbeschreibliches Gefühl!!! Nach 45 Sekunden war dann schon alles wieder vorbei, der Fallschirm öffnete sich und wir machten uns auf den Weg auf die liebe Erde. Nach weiteren fünf Minuten hatte ich dann wieder festen Boden unter meinen Füßen. Leicht schummrig, aber voller Adrenalin, lag ich einfach platt auf den Boden und konnte immer noch nicht fassen, dass ich es wirklich getan habe!!! :) Video folgt hoffentlich bald! :) Aber hier schon mal ein paar Bilder! :)

Chris hat sich währenddessen beim Downhill mit dem Fahrrad in Queenstown die Zeit vertrieben. :)

Queenstown ist eine kleine und stressige Stadt. Voller Touristen und eine Menge Attraktionen, wie zum Beispiel Jetboat, Bungee Jumping, Skydive und vieles mehr. Wir haben es uns aber einfach nur gut gehen lassen. Wir haben einen kleinen Walk zur Gondola Skyline gemacht, sind ausgegangen und waren lecker Essen. Natürlich durfte auch ein Besuch bei Fergburger nicht fehlen (wird ausdrücklich im Lonely Planet drauf hingewiesen und groß gelobt, es sei der beste Burger!!!) Schlange stehen und 45 Minuten später hatten wir dann endlich unseren Burger! :D Groß war er, lecker auch, ABER den besten Burger in Neuseeland bekommt man am Abel Tasman bei Fat Tui!!!!!!!!! SICHER!!! :)

Kajaken

Eigentlich hatten wir die Morning Tour (Treffen: 5:45h) gebucht, aber irgendwie ist da was schief gelaufen und die Gruppe war bereits voll… Nun ja, zwei Möglichkeiten gab es dann, entweder eine andere ähnliche Tour am morgen (Start 7.00 Uhr) oder dieselbe Tour vom morgen nur nachmittags. Die Tour geht dann andersherum. Mit dem Wassertaxi die 16 km bis an Ende des Milford Sound und dann zurück, zum Glück mit den Wellen. Kajaken hat super Spaß gemacht und mit den Wellen war es dann auch echt anstrengend! 3 Kajaks á 2 Personen und der Tourguide. Bine und Marleen in einem, Chris mit einem Amerikaner und ein Pärchen im dritten. Vorbei an Wasserfällen und Seerobben die es sich auf den Felsen gemütlich gemacht haben. Und der absolute Hammer war ein Rudel von Delfinen, die direkt an uns vorbei geschwommen sind!!!! So um die 20 waren es!! Man, sind die groß!!!!! :) Der Tag wurde später und die Wellen größer und doller!! Was meint ihr, haben die beiden Jungs wohl gemacht? Natürlich sind die beiden weit vorne weg … und auf einmal – schwupp di wupp – hat es sie gekentert! :D Und vom gucken, wie die beiden Jungs da im Wasser sind, hat uns auch direkt eine dicke Welle erwischt, aber zum Glück haben wir schnell reagiert und uns gegen die Welle gelehnt und so blieben wir trocken! Puh, noch mal Glück gehabt!! Der Tourguide schrie zu uns, dass wir SOFORT  die Safety Stellung mit dem Pärchen einnehmen sollen! Dicht nebeneinander fahren und das anderen Kajak jeweils festhalten, so hat man mehr Stabilität. Cool war auch, das wir aus unseren drei Kajaks ein Segelschiff mit Hilfe einer riesen Plane gemacht haben! Nach sechs Stunden, mit knapp 1,5 Stunden Pause am Strand, kamen wir dann endlich, total erschöpft, am Ziel an!!

Milford Sound ist einfach wunderschön!!! Es lohnt sich, dort hinzufahren! :)

Doch eines trübt die Idylle – SANDFLYS!!!

Wissenswertes über die Sandflys:

Sie sehen aus wie kleine Fruchtfliegen, wirken harmlos, aber in Wirklichkeit sind sie der Teufel im Fliegenkostüm! :D Solange man läuft oder es windig ist, ist alles in Ordnung, denn sie sind zu klein und leicht um auf dir landen zu können. Aber Windstille lieben diese kleinen Biester! Zack, sind sie da und wenn du den Biss spürst, ist es schon zu spät! Es hört einfach nicht auf zu jucken und das kann bis zu einer Woche oder länger anhalten! Die Kiwis (Name für Neuseeländer) sagen, Sandflys beschützen die schönsten Orte in Neuseeland. Wegen ihnen kann man es nicht länger als ein paar Minuten an einer Stelle aushalten. Sie kommen sonst und zerstechen Dich!! Also, kurzes Foto geschossen und weiter geht’s. Ein anderer Mythos ist noch, sagen die Neuseeländer: denkst du, eine schwarze Wolke am Himmel zu sehen oder eine schwarze Wand direkt vor Dir, es ist nichts von beiden, es handelt sich dabei dann um Millionen von Sandflys. Und es sind nur die weiblichen Sandflys die einen beißen, sie brauchen unser Blut um NOCH MEHR Eier zu legen!

Otago Peninsula - Sandfly Bay
Ein guter Ort um Pinguine zu sehen! Gegen 16 Uhr haben wir uns auf den Weg zum Strand gemacht. Nach einem Picknick in den Dünen, sind wir zum Aussichtspunkt gegangen. Dieser wurde extra für uns Touristen gebaut, damit wir die Pinguine nicht stören, wenn sie aus dem Wasser kommen und sich zu ihrem Nest begeben. Leider hatten wir kein Glück, nach zwei Stunden warten oben auf dem Hügel hat sich nichts getan! Naja, einen haben wir am frühen Nachmittag von weiten gesehen, aber der war dann auch schnell in den Dünen verschwunden. Dafür haben wir eine Seerobben und Seelöwen gesehen, die sich einen gemütlichen Tag am Strand gemacht! :)

Lake Pukaki und Lake Tekapo – endlich Sicht auf Mount Cook! :)

Unser Highlight der Reise!! Lake Pukaki!! Campground for free, direkt am Lake Pukaki und den allerschönsten Ausblick auf Mount Cook! :) Auf den Bildern kommt es wahrscheinlich gar nicht richtig rüber, aber die Farbe des Wassers vom Lake Pukaki ist einfach unnatürlich Gletscherblau!!! Wie die Eisbonbons, die wir kennen. :) Sowas haben wir vorher noch nie gesehen!! Schnell haben wir beschlossen dort unsere letzten drei Tage zu verbringen!

Morgens zum wach werden, ging es eine Runde in den See, mittags zum abkühlen und abends wurde dann gebadet! :) Einfach herrlich!

Bine und Chris haben einen kleinen Walk auf Mount John gemacht. Marleen ist lieber direkt in die Hot Pools gegangen! :) Bei 35 bis 39 Grad war Entspannung angesagt! Genau das richtige für den letzten Tag! :)

Der beste Spot von ganz Neuseeland!!! Leider konnte Marleen dies nicht mit Fabio teilen.. :( Aber im Herzen war er immer dabei!! :-*

Irgendwann ist auch mal die schönste Zeit vorbei! Bines Flug ging am 06.02.2014 zurück ins kalte Deutschland! Chris hat sich bereits am Lake Pukaki von uns verabschiedet, er ist nicht so der Fan von Verabschiedung. Er ist dann weiter zum Mount Cook und noch mal zurück nach Queenstown gereist.

DANKE CHRIS für die wundervollen Wochen mit Dir! Du bist einfach ein super lieber und umgänglicher Typ und für jeden Spaß zu haben! Und DANKE für das leckere Abendessen immer!!! Wir sehen uns wieder, auf jeden Fall!!! :) Wir werden Dich vermissen!!!

Bine und ich haben sich dann auf den Weg nach Christchurch gemacht. Drei Stunden später war es dann so weit. Endlich im Hostel angekommen und Fabio wieder in den Armen gehalten!!! Ich habe ihn SOOOO vermisst!!! :) Um 18:00 Uhr habe ich Bine dann am Flughafen abgesetzt!

DANKE, auch Dir BINE für den super Mädelsroadtrip! :) Danke, für die lustigen Gespräche und dem ständigen Topmodel posings! Aber wir brauchen auch einfach die Auswahl an Fotos um DAS Beste auswählen zu können! :D Ich habe mich so gefreut, dass Du da warst! „Taten sagen mehr als Worte“! DANKE!!! Wir wissen das so zu schätzen! Und wir sehen uns dann in sechs Monaten wieder! Ich freue mich!!! :* Und Fabio auch! ;)

Yes, exactly, two girls and one boy! :) Chris, our Swiss friend, decided to join the girl’s road trip! :)  Now there were three of us! The only difference to the old plan was, Bine and Marleen had Mario und Chris his Lydia (his car) :)

The first glacier on our list. Acutally we thought that you can go really close to the glacier. But no, you can´t! There are fences and signs which won´t let you through. :( We took some pictures and went back. On our way back, Chris had this idea to build some “stone people”. What the f*** are stone people!? :D Piled stones from big to small - ready are the stone people! :D Some tourists even took some pictures of our stone people! :D

Our next glacier. The same as with the Franz Josef Glacier. Fences and signs didn´t allow to go close to the glacier! The river with the big ice cubes was so close but on the other side so far away from us… we thought just a second and the other second we jumped over the fences and ran to the river. We came back with an ice cube in our hands – jummy! :) NO RISK -  NO FUN!! :D

Direct next to the village Fox Glacier you can do a small walk around the Lake Matheson. Actually you have a great view to the Mount Cook, if there weren´t all those clouds! :D The Lonely Planet says: “If Mount Cook is hidden by clouds, go into the souvenir shop and buy a postcard!” and so Marleen did! :D The salesgirl told us, that Marleen isn´t the first person who did it, almost 90 % buy this postcard! :D

Wanaka – SKYDIVEEEEE!!!!

What are we doing? We are crazy and we don´t know what we do!! :D 12.000 ft and 45 seconds free fall! Of course I took the video and pictures options so you can see and believe for yourself that I did it! :)

Bine was really relaxed, it wasn´t her first skydive! At the end stone-scissor-paper had to decide if she took the pictures and video as well. And she won! :)

Marleen´s hands were sweating and her legs were like pudding. She was just smiling to hide her nervousness. But now, everything was too late! We jumped in the clothes and right into the small airplane. We had amazing weather and a beautiful view over Lake Wanaka and Mount Cook! :)

We were ready! We reached the high we needed for the skydive. Bine was first, Marleen was the third person! There was no time for second thoughts, everything went so fast. I couldn´t realise what was happening, weather I was floating, flying or falling the time was too short as well! It was just amazing!!!! I would do it again!!! 

I screamed and laughed because I was so happy, an indescribable feeling!! After 45 seconds everything was done, the parachute opened and we made our way back to the lovely earth. After another five minutes we were back on the ground. And I still couldn´t believe that I did it!! I hope the video is following soon! :) But for the beginning already a few pictures! :)

Queenstown is a small and stressful city. Full of tourists and a lot of attractions you can do, for example jet boat, bungee jumping, skydiving and much more. But we didn´t actually anything of that but relaxing! :) We did only a small walk to the top of the gondola skyline went out for party and we had a delicious meal in a restaurant. Of course we had a burger from Fergburger (the Lonely Planet says that’s the best burger!!) waiting in a queue and after 45 minutes we had our burgers! :D A big burger and it was nice, BUT you got New Zealand’s best burger in Abel Tasman at the Fat Tui!! FOR SURE!!!! :)

Actually we booked the trip for the morning (Meeting at 5.45 am), but something was wrong with the booking, therefore we had to change our trip. There were two possibilities either we do a similar tour in the morning (starts at 7.00 am) or we do the same trip but in the afternoon. The afternoon tour goes the other way around. The whole way till the end of Milford sound with the water taxi and kayaking the way back, fortunately in the same way like the waves! :) Kayaking was a lot of fun and really hard to get through the waves! Three kayaks with two people in it and the tour guide. Bine and Marleen were in one on the kayaks, Chris with an American guy and in the last one were a couple. We past some waterfalls and we saw seals they relaxed on the rocks. And the best thing we saw a school of dolphins. There were around 20 of them and they swam right next to our kayaks!!!  By the way, they are pretty big! :D The day went by and the waves got bigger and higher! What do you think the guys were doing? For sure, there were far far in front of us and on the next second they capsized! :D Only from watching them we almost capsized as well, but we had a good reaction and pulled our bodies against the waves!! Good luck for us!! Our tour guide yelled at us, we had to go DIRECTLY in the safety position with the couple! Very close with the kayaks and hold the other kayak. More stability! Cool was that we made a sail ship with a huge plastic blanket out of our three kayaks! After six hours, and a break for 1,5 hours, we finally arrived back and were very tired!!

Milford Sound is just beautiful!! :) Worth to go there!!! :)

But there is one think that dim the idyll – SANDFLYS!!!

Worth knowing about the sandflys:

They look like small fruit flys, seem harmless, but in reality they are the devil in a fly costume! :D As long as you walk or the wind is blowing, everything is fine, because they are too small and light so they can’t land on you. But they love when the wind stops blowing! When you already feel the bite it is too late! It didn´t stop itching and it lasted for at least one week! Kiwis (name of the New Zealand people) say sandflys protect the most beautiful places in New Zealand. Because of them you can´t stand more than one minute on one place. They come and bite you!!! Take a picture and go somewhere else! The other myth is, when you see a black cloud in the sky or a black wall in front of you, that’s the sandflys, millions of them!!! Only the female sandflies bite you. They need your blood to lay more eggs!

A good place to see penguins! At 4.00 pm we made our way to the beach. After a picnic in the sand dunes we went to the lookout point. The lookout was specifically built for the tourists to watch the penguins when they come out of the water and go to their hotbeds. 

Unfortunately we weren´t lucky, after two hours waiting we didn´t see nothing! By the way, we already saw one earlier, but he was far far away and was just after a few seconds in the sand dunes. But we saw a lot of seals and sea lions, they were lazy on the beach! :)

Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo – finally a nice view on Mount Cook! :)

Our highlight was Lake Pukaki! The campground was for free, next to Lake Pukaki and the most beautiful view over Mount Cook! :) The colour of the water is just unreal! It looks unnatural!! Glacier blue, like the sweets we know from back home – ice sweets :) The first time, that we saw a lake with this colour! We decided very fast to stay there for our last days!

In the morning we went for a swim to wake up, for lunch to cool down and in the evening we took a bath in the lake! :) Just amazing!

The best spot in whole New Zealand. Unfortunately Marleen couldn´t share this moment with Fabio. But he was always in Marleens heart!!! :-*

Bine and Chris did a short walk on Mount John. Marleen preferred to go directly to the hot pools. :) We were relaxed at 35 till 39 degrees. That was totally the best thing to do for our last days! :)

At some point every nice time is over! Bines flight was on the 6^th of February. Back to Germany! Chris already sad goodbye at Lake Pukaki. He didn´t like to say goodbye! He travelled further to Mount Cook and back to Queenstown again.

THANKS TO CHRIS for the last weeks! You are just a very lovely and nice person and good for every joke! And THANKS for the delicious dinner every night you cooked for us!! We will see you again, for sure!! :) We will miss you!!

Bine and I made our way back to Christchurch. Finally after three hours we arrived in the hostel. I took Fabio in my arms, so good to have him back!!! I missed him soo much!!! :)

THANKS to Bine as well!! Thank you for this great girls road trip! :) Thanks for the really funny conversations and that we had to pose the whole time for THE best picture! But, yeah, well, we needed all this pictures, to choose the right one! :D I was so lucky, that you were here! There is this saying in German: “Actions speak louder than words”! THANK YOU!!  We see you in six month back in Germany! I´m really looking forward to it!! :* And Fabio as well! ;)

Christchurch and Akaroa - english version

First impressions of Christchurch

After one night in Kaikoura (close to Christchurch) and how life is playing, we met Chris again! After a few text messages, we decided to travel with him to Christchurch.

We arrived in Christchurch and drove directly to the Buskers Festival. There acted buskers and comedians and it was all for free or for a small donation! :) We just camped right next to the festival on the car park! :)

The earthquake happened already three years ago, but in the beginning of the night it looked so weird. It makes you think the earthquake happened just yesterday. The roads were closed, cranes, and half houses which are about to collapse and nobody on the streets! That’s just so creepy.

But there are two nice places you have to go, like the Hagley Park and the botanic gardens!

19th of January, 4.30 am and the alarm is ringing! “Today BINNNEEE is coming!!!” Bine arrived at 5.30 am at the airport. Fabio moved on the bed, Bine sat in the front and let´s go to Akaroa – our first stop! :)

For sure, not everything was fine.. :) A short notice what´s happened before we picked up Bine. :) You remember we camped at the car park of the festival. The gates were closed at 12am. The whole park is surrounded by fences, until this time, we didn´t think about this. We were trapped and that at 5 am!!! :) After a few meters with “Mario” (our car) on the footpath, we were lucky that we found a small exit to go out of there!!! Marleen kept calm; sometimes we know how her reaction is in situations like this! :D

Akaroa and „swimming“ with hector´s dolphins

We arrived at 7 am, really tired and totally unpowered in Akarao. After a two hour power nap we walked around Akaroa – France feeling in New Zealand! :) One highlight is to go for swim with the smallest dolphins in the world. For sure we wouldn´t miss this and booked the trip on the same day! :)

Bine, Marleen, Fabio and Chris

We had dinner and a lot of fun together with Chris. He followed us to Akaroa in the evening! :)

Fabios back was still bad therefore he had to cancel the dolphin swim. Bine and Marleen did this trip only by themeself! Two trips about 30 minutes in the freaking cold water and yet we didn´t have any success with the dolphins. They just didn´t want to swim with us. Hence we only watched them instead of swimming… we were so disappointment.. :( But than the bombshell happened. Bine had luck with the dolphins and one of them jumped right in her arms! :D

Worth knowing about the hector´s dolphins:

At approximately 1.5 m in length, it is one of the smallest whales like creatures and he belongs to the family of the black-white-dolphins. They are only native to New Zealand's water.

The decision is made – a 2,5 weeks girls road trip

After three days in Akaroa and nothing changed with Fabios back, he decided to take care about himself and stay until our flight to Singapore in Christchurch go. Finally he had to get fit again; for all that we had still around six months left for south East Asia. Therefore the actually planned trip turned into a girls trip! :)

Erste Eindrücke von Christchurch

Nach einer Nacht in Kaikoura (das ist kurz vor Christchurch) und wie das Leben so spielt, haben wir doch tatsächlich Chris wieder getroffen! Nach ein paar SMS war dann klar, dass wir zusammen nach Christchurch fahren.

Buskers Festival

In Christchurch angekommen sind wir direkt zum Buskers Festival gefahren. Dort treten Straßenkünstler und Komiker auf und das Ganze für umsonst oder gegen eine kleine freiwillige Spende! :) Gecampt haben wir dann einfach auf dem Festivalgelände! :)

Das Erdbeben ist jetzt schon drei Jahre her, aber wenn man bei Abenddämmerung durch Christchurch geht, kommt es einem vor, als wäre es erst gestern gewesen. Gesperrte Straßen, Kräne, halb stehende Häuser, die kurz vor dem Einsturz stehen und kein Mensch auf der Straße! Ganz schön gruselig.

Sehenswert sind aber auf jeden Fall der Hagley Park und der botanische Garten! :)

Ankunft von Bine in Christchurch

19. Januar, 4:30 Uhr und der Wecker klingelt! „BINEEEEEEE kommt heute an!!“ Um 5:30 Uhr ist Bine am Flughafen in Christchurch ankommen. Fabio ab auf ´s Bett, Bine auf den Beifahrersitz und ab geht’s nach Akaroa – unser 1. Stopp! :)

Natürlich lief nicht alles so reibungslos ab… :) Kurze Notiz dazu, was passiert ist, bevor wir Bine abgeholt haben. :) Wir haben ja auf dem Parkplatz vom Festival gecampt. Die Gates schließen um 24:00 Uhr. Das der ganze Park eingezäunt ist, war uns bis dahin gar nicht bewusst. Wir waren quasi eingesperrt und das morgens um 5:00!!! :) Nach ein paar Metern auf dem Gehweg mit „Mario“ (unser Auto) haben wir dann zum Glück eine Stelle gefunden wo wir haargenau durch gepasst haben.. Guuut, das Mario so schlank ist und Marleen ruhig geblieben ist! Sie kennen wir uns solchen Situationen ja sonst anders! :D

Akaroa und “Schwimmen” mit Hectors Delfinen

Morgens um 7h sind wir alle total platt und müde in Akaroa angekommen. Nach einem zwei Stunden Power Nap im Auto, haben wir uns erstmal Akaroa angeschaut – französisches Feeling in Neuseeland! :) Eines der Hightlights dort ist es mit den kleinsten Delfinen der Welt zu schwimmen. Natürlich wollten wir uns das nicht entgehen lassen und haben den Trip noch am gleichen Tag gebucht! :)

Bine, Marleen, Fabio und Chris

Zusammen mit Chris, der Abends noch nach gekommen ist, haben wir lecker gegessen und viel Spaß gehabt! :)

Da Fabios Rücken sich wieder verschlechtert hatte, musste er das Delfin schwimmen kurzfristig absagen, somit sind Bine und Marleen dann alleine auf Tour! Nach zwei 30 minütigen Aufenthalten im Wasser und klirrender Kälte hatten wir leider kein Erfolg mit den Delfinen. Sie wollten einfach nicht mit uns schwimmen. Somit wurde aus dem schwimmen am Ende nur „watching“. :( Wir waren so Enttäuscht… :( Doch dann passierte das Unerwartete. Bine hatte am Ende dann doch etwas Glück und ein Delfin ist ihr direkt in die Arme gesprungen! :D

Hectors Delfin

Wissenswertes um Hectors Delfin:
Er ist mit einer Länge von bis zu 1,50 Meter der kleinste Vertreter der Wale und gehört zu der Gattung der Schwarz-Weiß-Delfine. Man findet ihn nur in den Gewässern von Neuseeland.

Die Entscheidung ist getroffen – 2,5 Wochen Mädelsroadtrip         

Nach drei Tagen in Akaroa und keiner Besserung in Sicht, hat Fabio beschlossen sich bis zu unserem Abflug auszuruhen und die Zeit in Christchurch zu verbringen. Er muss endlich wieder richtig fit werden, immerhin haben wir noch knapp 6 Monate Südostasien vor uns. Somit wurde aus dem geplanten Trip ein Mädelstrip! :)
